Focused Initiative Strategy Program:
This program is for the management group that wants to develop a great strategy for a new initiative such as a new product introduction, a new customer group campaign, or a new business venture. The program uses the Prometheus Process but abbreviates some of the steps that would be used to develop a full organization grand strategy. The deliverables are : measurable strategic objectives with timeline (Future Picture); identification of needed external and internal system change; resource application points (Centers of Gravity) and what they must become (Impact Plans); a campaign plan for a compressed timeframe (Parallel Operations); identification of exit points and plans (End-game planning); behavior guidelines (Guiding Precepts); and strategic principles assessment (Cardinal Rules). This is a three day program.

Senior Executive Accelerated Strategy Program
In this program, a small group of senior executives spend one to three hours periodically (biweekly, for example) receives a very short summary of a Prometheus Concept followed by proposing content for that section. Venturist strategy experts then combine the ideas into a finished product for the relevant section and circulated the draft electronically for comments which are incorporate before the next session which begins with a short review of the draft followed by introduction of the next Prometheus step. An organization can prepare a functional strategy using this approach in 6 to 8 weeks. Senior executives can expect to spend an average of 3-4 hours a week in some combination of attending development meetings and reviewing circulated drafts.
